What is the difference between Digital Radiography and Real Time Radiography.

I guess its different names for same technique.

Can someone share some information please.

Digital Radiography is a term that includes with DDA‘s (digital detector arrays) and CR (computed radiography – imaging plates).  Real Time Radiography may be performed with CCD cameras but are being replaced, at least in aerospace usage with DDA’s.  DDA’s frame rates will vary with the size detector and pixel density but 15 fps (frames per second) to 30 fps are common and can improve detectability with respect to a still image by providing motion.  Think how an animal such as rabbit freezes when it doesn’t want to be detected but as soon as it moves, it is easily noticed.  DDA’s can be used for both 2D (two dimensional) radiography and CT (computed tomography).
