ORAT is today a national and international point of reference in the non-destructive testing sector. Since 2005 they have introduced Automatic Ultrasound technology to Italy for the control of pipeline welding and, since then, they have been the undisputed leader in the sector. The transition was a real revolution compared to the previous 50 years of use of the radiographic method.

Their strength in the pipeline sector is based on the professionalism and availability of almost one hundred technicians, all ISO 9712 qualified.

Their know-how embraces the most important non-destructive testing methodologies. From manual to automatic ultrasound, from radiographs using x-ray tubes and gamma sources, to magnetoscopic investigations and penetrant liquids.
