Welcome to the Welding Inspection Services Limited website. WIS have been supplying NDT services to Northern Ireland for some time. Our Belfast office has been established for several years and services our growing number of clients in the Region. The Company was founded in 1983 to provide services to Bord Gais in relation to the laying of gas pipelines throughout the country. Over the past 30 years we have established ourselves as a leader in the provision of Non-Destructive Testing Services to the engineering & construction industries.

In 1987 the Company won the NDT Contract at Aughinish Alumina Limited in Askeaton, Co. Limerick and went from strength to strength. From 1987 the Company has grown in size from 3 originally to 15 today. Our full time staff are supplemented from time to time with sub-contractors during busy periods.

Our customer base has grown steadily over the years, and we now offer our customers a comprehensive range of NDT methods, which includes X & Gamma radiography, Ultrasonic Inspection, MPI & DPI Inspections, Holiday Detection, MFL Tank Floor Scanning, QA/QC, Metallurgical Services, PCN Level 3 Services, Phased array, TOFD & other advanced NDT methods
