The Techniques and Applications section of the course focuses on software commands and user standards and operating procedures specific to ACFM. Participants will learn how to optimize probe settings for different applications, including gain and frequency settings, current selection, sensitivity settings, and scalings. They will also become familiar with standards and operating procedures applicable to ACFM inspections.

Upon successful completion of the ACFM Level II course, individuals will demonstrate their competence to perform NDT according to established procedures. Level II certified personnel have the authority to select the appropriate NDT technique, define the limitations of its application, translate codes and standards into practical instructions, set up and verify equipment settings, conduct tests, interpret and evaluate results, prepare written NDT instructions, supervise personnel at or below Level II, and report non-destructive test findings.

Training Duration:

• The ACFM Level II course requires a total training duration of either 40 hours (for candidates who have already attained Level I certification) or 80 hours (for candidates seeking direct Level II certification without prior Level I certification).
