Course Objective:
This comprehensive course aims to provide participants with classroom training and examination, leading to a Level II qualification in Digital Radiography (DR) that complies with the requirements of ASNT SNT-TC-1A based employer's written practice. A valid Level II certificate holder will be formally eligible to conduct digital radiography examinations on relevant test jobs, follow applicable NDT written procedures, and generate accurate test reports.

- Basic Radiographic Principles and Exposure Calculations
- Comparison of Radiographic Testing (RT) and Digital Radiography (DR), Advantages, Limitations, and Applications
- Types of Radiation and Interaction of Radiation with Matter
- DR System Components, Settings, and Radiographic Safety Principles
- Digital Detector Arrays (DDA), Image Fidelity, and Digital Image Processing
- Detector Issues, Detector Calibrations, and Monitor and Viewing Environment
- Digital Reference Images, Indications, Discontinuities, and Defects
- Manufacturing Processes and Associated Discontinuities
- Evaluation Against Acceptance Criteria and Reporting
- Understanding Codes, Standards, Specifications, and Operating Procedures
Course Duration:
- Training: 8 days (80 hours - Direct Level II)
- Exam: 1 day (8 hours)
Who Should Attend:
This course is ideal for technicians, inspectors, supervisors, and personnel working in industries such as oil refineries, petrochemical plants, ship construction, and other fields where Digital Radiography (DR) is essential.
Pre-requirements:
- Valid vision certificate
- Minimum experience of 840 hours in DR and a total of 1600 hours in NDT
Certification:
Upon successful completion, participants will receive an ASNT Training certificate and a Level II certificate, which will be valid for 5 years.

To facilitate effective learning, we provide course notes, DR systems, DDA, high-definition monitors, and simulation files for hands-on practical exercises.
Class Capacity:
