What will I learn
This Course includes:
- 40 hours of online training.
- 2 days of instructor led hands-on training at our Baxter, MN facility.
- 3 nights’ accommodations at our private “Digital Interactive Student Housing“.
This course focuses on the theory and principles of radiation and their application to radiography. Subjects also included in this course include handling and processing radiographic film, radiography techniques, image quality, basic radiographic interpretation and the safe use of RT equipment. Both X-Ray and Gamma Ray sources are analyzed along with technique development guidance and advanced radiation safety.
This 40-hour course exceeds the instruction outline and criteria specified in the ASNT Recommended Practice SNT-TC-1A, ANSI/ASNT CP-189, NAS410 and ASNT Standard Topical Outlines for Qualification of Nondestructive Testing Personnel (ANSI/ASNT CP-105).
