What will I learn
This Course includes:
- 24 hours of online training.
- 2 days of instructor led hands-on training at our Baxter, MN facility.
- 3 nights’ accommodations at our private ‘Digital Interactive Student Housing”.
This course’s subjects include the mechanics of the human eye, illumination requirements, surface conditions, test specimen attributes, and various discontinuities and conditions that may be encountered. Both direct and indirect (remote) visual techniques are thoroughly presented and demonstrated. The different visual tools, gages, measuring devices, and advanced VT instrumentation are discussed and demonstrated. A wide range of common applications are included. This course is a must for anyone considering a future in NDT or Inspection.
This 24-hour course exceeds the instruction outline and criteria specified in the ASNT Recommended Practice SNT-TC-1A, ANSI/ASNT CP-189, and ASNT Standard Topical Outlines for Qualification of Nondestructive Testing Personnel (ANSI/ASNT CP-105).
