I’ve had the privilege to lead numerous transformational projects, but one of my proudest achievements is the establishment of our NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) division. Through cutting-edge technology and expert collaboration, we’ve managed to elevate industry standards and significantly reduce downtime for our clients.

One of the key strategies I employ is investing in continuous learning and adapting to new technologies like AI and big data. Additionally, fostering a culture of resilience and agility within the organization allows us to stay ahead of the curve and turn challenges into opportunities.
How do you think recent technological advancements are impacting the NDT industry, and what trends should we watch for?
Technological advancements, especially in AI and automation, are revolutionizing the NDT industry. We’re seeing more accurate, real-time data analysis, which improves the speed and reliability of our inspections. The integration of drones, robotics, and machine learning in NDT is something to watch closely, as these innovations will redefine how we approach asset integrity management.

What leadership qualities do you believe are most important in your field, and how do you cultivate them?
In my field, the most crucial leadership qualities are vision, adaptability, and empathy. A great leader must see beyond the present and guide the team toward future possibilities. Cultivating these qualities requires self-awareness and constant learning, as well as a commitment to empowering others to grow and succeed. I make it a point to stay engaged with my team, providing the support they need to innovate fearlessly.

Technical expertise in NDT is essential, but equally important are problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and a strong understanding of digital tools. To develop these skills, I recommend aspiring professionals seek out hands-on experience, stay updated with industry trends, and actively participate in continuous learning programs. Networking with industry experts and mentors also plays a key role in professional development.
How do you approach strategic decision-making in your current role, and what factors do you consider most critical?
Strategic decision-making is a balance between data-driven insights and intuition. The most critical factors I consider are long-term sustainability, innovation potential,
and the impact on our clients. I believe that every decision should align with our overarching mission to lead the industry in technological innovation while maintaining operational excellence.
