Hello Ms. Pornnatcha (Genie) K. Greetings of the day. Could you please introduce yourself to our wonderful audience?

Hello, and thank you for having me. My name is Pornnatcha Klinsorn (you can call me Genie). I am the Talent Acquisition Manager at Dexon Technology PLC, with a strong background in Talent Acquisition and Business Development. My journey in talent acquisition has been both challenging and rewarding, and I am passionate about talent sourcing and mentoring the best talent to drive our company's success.


… how did you decide to become a Talent Acquisition Manager; that too in a sector like non-destructive testing? How has your experience been in the NDT field?

I have always been fascinated by the intricate dynamics of human resources and the critical role it plays in organizational success. Choosing the field of Talent Acquisition was a natural passion progression for me as it allowed me to leverage my skills in understanding people and matching them with the right opportunities. Entering the Inspections services and non-destructive testing (NDT) sector was particularly intriguing because of its specialized nature and the significant impact it has on safety and quality across various industries. My experience in the Inspection services and NDT field has been enriching, as it has allowed me to work with highly skilled professionals and contribute to the growth and innovation within this sector.


… let’s talk a bit about your Talent Acquisition experience…. How do you ensure you find the best talent for Dexon Technology? Is there anything specific that you look for during your hiring process?

Finding the best talent for Dexon Technology involves a multi-faceted approach. I prioritize understanding the specific needs of each role and the qualities that will ensure a candidate's success within our company culture. During the hiring process, I look for a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive mindset. Additionally, I value candidates who demonstrate a strong commitment to continuous learning and have a collaborative spirit. Utilizing advanced recruitment tools, networking, and industry-specific job boards also helps in identifying top talent.


… what challenges have you faced in recruitment, and how have you overcome them?

One of the primary challenges in recruitment is finding candidates with the precise technical skills and industry experience required for specialized roles in the NDT sector. To overcome this, I have built a robust talent pipeline by developing relationships with industry professionals, attending relevant conferences, and leveraging social media platforms. Another challenge is ensuring a smooth and efficient recruitment process. By implementing structured interview frameworks and utilizing applicant tracking systems, I have streamlined our hiring process to ensure it is both thorough and timely.


… so, Ms. Pornnatcha, how do you plan training processes for the candidates onboarded by you?

Training processes for new hires are meticulously planned to ensure a heartfelt warm welcome, smooth transition, and rapid integration into our team. We begin with an extensive onboarding program that covers company culture, values, and operational procedures. This is followed by role-specific training that includes hands-on experience and mentorship from professionals. Continuous development access to online learning resources, official training, and opportunities for attending industry workshops and seminars. … your LinkedIn profile mentioned you as a YouTuber. So, what inspired you to start your YouTube channel, and how do you balance it with your other professional responsibilities?

My YouTube journey began during my time living and working full-time in Australia, particularly in Queensland and New South Wales. I developed a deep appreciation for the natural beauty of the landscapes there, capturing serene scenes accompanied by relaxing music—all shot by myself. My inspiration stemmed from a desire to share these positive vibes and the calming essence of nature with my audience.

Balancing my YouTube channel with my professional responsibilities involves traveling during the weekends. Using smart tools allows me to create videos quickly and effectively. This balance enriches my personal fulfilment and enhances my creativity and overall well-being.


Ms. Pornnatcha, what keeps you motivated?

What keeps me motivated is the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in people's lives through my work as well as the company to get the good candidates with self-motivation and continuous learning mindset.  

Additionally, my passion for continuous learning and professional development drives me to stay updated with industry trends and best practices. The support and collaboration of my colleagues at Dexon Technology also play a significant role in keeping me motivated and inspired.


… so, how does life look for you outside of work, Ms. Pornnatcha? How do you unwind yourself?

Outside of work, I enjoy exploring new places, traveling the world, and staying active. Balancing these activities helps me recharge and initiate creativity, broadening my vision both personally and professionally. When I learn and see more about different cultures, the world, and people, it becomes a great asset that allows me to analyse more deeply, gain better understanding, and create better solutions.
