Position Summary:
North Star Imaging is seeking a strategic and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead growth initiatives across the Southern United States. This role is focused on consultative selling, building strong client relationships, and identifying opportunities for value-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will bring a combination of strategic market insight, client engagement expertise, and a passion for driving business growth.
Responsibilities:
- Apply a consultative approach to assess client needs and deliver customized solutions that maximize value.
- Identify, pursue, and capitalize on business opportunities using field insights and competitive intelligence.
- Host and manage client experiences during product evaluations, ensuring a seamless and professional customer journey.
- Develop annual sales plans and provide quarterly updates on progress and outcomes.
- Represent North Star Imaging with clients, prospects, and at industry events, requiring a travel commitment of at least 60%.
- Present tailored proposals, negotiate terms, and clearly differentiate NSI’s products and services.
- Foster strong customer relationships, cross-sell products and services (Equipment, Scanning Services, Training), and promote long-term partnerships.
- Work closely with technical experts and support teams to refine solutions and address client-specific needs.
Requirements:
- Ability to travel at least 60% of the time to engage clients, prospects, and attend industry events.
- Proven track record of consultative sales and strategic market development.
- Excellent presentation and proposal management skills.
- Strong relationship-building and cross-selling expertise.
- Collaborative mindset to partner with technical and support teams.
Qualifications:
- Background in business development, sales, or a related field.
- Experience in consultative selling and delivering client-centric solutions.
- Strong strategic and analytical skills to identify market opportunities.
