Level II Infrared Thermographer

Position Summary:

Acuren is seeking a dedicated and skilled Level II Infrared Thermographer to perform comprehensive infrared inspections on both rotating and static industrial equipment. This role includes analyzing infrared images, identifying anomalies, and delivering detailed reports to clients. The position demands a strong commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency, in alignment with Acuren’s standards and client-specific practices. Frequent short-duration travel is required to meet project demands.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed infrared inspections on industrial equipment, including heaters, furnaces, steam traps, and electrical systems.
• Analyze infrared images to detect and report anomalies.
• Prepare detailed reports with findings and recommendations for clients.
• Ensure strict adherence to all safety protocols during inspection activities.
• Support Acuren’s Engineering and Inspection Services as needed.
• Travel frequently to client sites for project requirements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Education & Certification

• Level II Infrared Thermology certification (required).
• 2-5 years of experience in an industrial environment.
• Experience with internal furnace infrared scanning (preferred).
• Vibration Certification Category 2 (strong asset).
• Valid Driver’s License and TWIC card.
• Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time.
