NDT Engineer Level III

Position Summary:

Intertek is seeking an experienced NDT Engineer Level III to oversee the smooth operation of the Radiography Department and provide technical support to the Surface Inspection Department. This role involves ensuring quality, maintaining compliance with inspection protocols, and fostering a collaborative environment. The successful candidate will lead audits, manage documentation, and train staff, contributing to Intertek’s mission of delivering quality, safety, and sustainability solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the Radiography Department’s operations and technical responsibilities.
• Communicate effectively with customers to address technical requirements and ensure satisfaction.
• Produce, review, and approve techniques, data cards, and other technical documents.
• Lead department audits and ensure compliance with process control documentation and inspection protocols.
• Train, supervise, and conduct functional checks for staff.
• Maintain Level 2 and Level 3 approvals and ensure calibration and testing standards are met.
• Test customer parts and provide technical guidance for complex issues.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in IT literacy.
• Level 3 RT or CRT/DRT qualifications preferred (experienced Level 2s will also be considered).
• Additional qualifications in other inspection methods are advantageous.
• Solid understanding of NDT specifications and quality control systems.
• Familiarity with ISO 17025 or ISO 9001 is preferred.
