NDT Technician

Position Summary:

NDTS India (P) Limited is seeking a dedicated and skilled NDT Technician to perform non-destructive testing (NDT) and evaluations on various materials and structures. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in NDT techniques and equipment, an in-depth understanding of industry standards, and a commitment to safety and quality. Responsibilities:

• Perform non-destructive testing using techniques such as ultrasonic testing (UT), magnetic particle testing (MPT), liquid penetrant testing (LPT), and radiographic testing (RT).
• Accurately interpret test results and prepare comprehensive reports on findings.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand inspection requirements and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Calibrate, operate, and maintain NDT equipment to ensure reliable test results.
• Adhere to all safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards during inspection activities.
• Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues, fostering a collaborative and knowledgeable team environment.
• Engage in research and development activities to enhance inspection techniques and processes.
• Participate in continuous training and professional development to stay current with industry advancements.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in performing NDT inspections.
• Certification in NDT methods, including ultrasonic testing (UT), magnetic particle testing (MPT), liquid penetrant testing (LPT), and radiographic testing (RT).
• Strong knowledge of NDT industry standards and best practices.
• Proficiency in operating NDT equipment and interpreting test results.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Commitment to safety and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Professional certification in NDT techniques, such as ASNT certification.
• Attention to detail and a methodical approach to testing and reporting.
• Background in mechanical engineering is advantageous.
