NDT Technician

Position Summary: 

Applus+ is seeking dedicated and skilled NDT Technicians to join their team for a site shutdown in Gladstone, scheduled from May 19th to June 6th, 2025. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a leading service provider, delivering high-quality services across the Pacific. The technicians will be based on 12-hour shifts during the shutdown, ensuring compliance with industry standards and supporting the engineering department in various tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with applicable standards and client policies in all tasks performed.
• Provide feedback and assistance to the engineering department to improve operations.
• Conduct audits and reviews to maintain high-quality standards.
• Supervise and liaise with inspection personnel to ensure efficient work.
• Provide input into shutdown planning activities and identify areas for improvement.
• Work closely with clients to suggest and implement improvement measures.
• Support the team in various tasks related to non-destructive testing and plant inspections.

Requirements:

• Applicants must be currently based in Queensland (QLD).
• Experience in providing feedback and assistance to engineering teams.
• Ability to conduct audits, reviews, and inspections as per industry standards.
• Experience supervising inspection personnel and contributing to shutdown planning.
• Strong communication and liaison skills for interaction with clients and team members.

Qualification:

• Level 2 NDT qualifications (PCN/AINDT) required.
• Preference for MT/PT/UTT/PAUT qualifications.
