Position Summary:

MISTRAS Group, Inc. is seeking qualified NDT Technicians for upcoming turnarounds in Minnesota starting in early April 2025. The NDT Technicians will perform essential inspections using various non-destructive testing methods to assess the integrity of materials and structures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety protocols. This position is integral to the ongoing success of the company and will require attention to detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform NDT inspections using established techniques to evaluate the structural integrity of materials and equipment during plant turnarounds.
  • Follow safety standards and ensure that all inspections meet the company's regulatory requirements.
  • Document and report the results of inspections accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, supervisors, and clients regarding inspection findings and potential issues.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and work collaboratively with the team to meet project timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with all industry codes and standards while performing inspections.
  • Participate in site-specific safety initiatives, including safety briefings, incident investigations, and risk assessments.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma, GED, or relevant degree.
  • Proof of classroom hours and experience hours related to NDT.
  • A resume detailing professional experience and qualifications.
  • TWIC card (if applicable).
  • State or IRRSP card (if applicable).
  • Ability to work in Minnesota during the turnaround period starting in early April 2025.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Flexibility to meet the scheduling needs of turnarounds.

Qualification:

  • Certification in NDT methods (specific methods to be determined by project requirements).
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
  • Previous experience working in turnarounds or with NDT inspections in an industrial setting is preferred.
  • Ability to adhere to safety protocols and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Must be able to work in challenging and dynamic environments, including physically demanding conditions.
