Position Summary:
Acuren is recruiting NDT Trainees to support operations in the Alberta Oil Sands Region. The successful candidate will contribute directly to the success of client operations by performing non-destructive examination (NDE) and non-destructive testing (NDT) inspection methods. This role offers an excellent opportunity for skill development, expanded expertise, and a meaningful impact in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The position requires immediate start, operates on a 5/2 rotation with 10-hour shifts, and is open to individuals local to Fort McMurray, AB.
Responsibilities:
- Perform assigned NDE/NDT inspection methods in accordance with established standards and procedures.
- Utilize strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills, and teamwork to effectively complete tasks.
- Adhere to quality and safety objectives while monitoring results to meet project timelines.
- Maintain positive working relationships with clients and ensure effective communication of inspection findings.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in NDT or a related field.
- Completion of an NDT Foundations course.
- Strong work ethics with exceptional safety and quality awareness.
- Ability to solve problems, manage time effectively, and work at a high technical and performance level.
- Self-motivated and capable of maintaining positive working relationships with clients.
Qualifications:
- Proven hands-on experience in NDT or a related field.
- Formal training evidenced by completion of the NDT Foundations course.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and technical excellence.
