PAUT Technician

Position Summary:

A-Star Group is seeking an experienced PAUT Technician for a long-term role in India. The ideal candidate will possess a PCN Level II certification in PAUT and have a strong background in Advanced Ultrasonic Testing (UT) methods, including Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT). This position requires a professional with excellent technical knowledge, communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining industry standards.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections using PAUT, UT, MT, TOFD, UTT, and VT methods as required.
• Perform detailed evaluations using advanced UT techniques, particularly Phased Array.
• Prepare comprehensive inspection reports and ensure accurate documentation of findings.
• Maintain and calibrate NDT equipment to ensure compliance with operational standards.
• Follow health, safety, and quality protocols during all inspections.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects and client requirements.

Requirements:

• PCN Level II certification in PAUT.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Advanced UT methods, with expertise in Phased Array.
• At least 2 years of experience in the NDT field as a certified technician in one or more advanced NDT methods.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Additional experience and certifications in MT, PT, UTT, and VT methods are preferred.
• Immediate availability to join the role.
