Quality Inspection Specialist

Position Summary:

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated is seeking a Quality Inspector to ensure that products meet the highest standards before moving to the next phase of manufacturing or shipment. This role is responsible for inspecting components, sub-assemblies, and final products, maintaining quality compliance, and recording inspection results. As an entry-level position, the Quality Inspector will work under the guidance of area leads and senior employees to develop expertise in quality control.

Responsibilities:

The Quality Inspector is responsible for performing final and in-process inspections of products according to relevant documentation. The role involves recording inspection data, tracking defects, and communicating non-conformances to the Quality Supervisor and Manufacturing Leads. The inspector will also participate in Material Review Board (MRB) processes, conduct in-process quality audits, and contribute to ensuring high-quality standards. Additionally, the position may require working overtime or on weekends to meet business demands.

Requirements:

Candidates must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing demands. Strong communication skills are essential for interactions with both internal and external stakeholders. The role requires proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Experience in reading technical drawings and working with Adobe software is preferred. Product knowledge, soldering experience, and prior quality inspection experience are advantageous. Due to the nature of work at the facility, applicants must be classified as a "US Person" (US Citizens, US Nationals, lawful permanent residents, asylees, or refugees) to meet access restrictions.

Qualifications:

A High School Diploma or GED is required. Candidates must have either a one-year technical certificate or a minimum of two years of relevant work experience.
