Rope Access Level III

Position Summary:

Acuren is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Rope Access Level III Technician with NDT and/or API Certifications to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing advanced rope access inspections and support across various industrial environments including pulp and paper mills, gas plants, refineries, and pharmaceutical facilities. The position involves traveling up to 75% of the time throughout Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama, and Florida. Responsibilities:

• Perform specific job functions related to work orders as outlined by the company.
• Be proficient with relevant work techniques and ensure proper application during assignments.
• Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of advanced rescue techniques and demonstrate them as needed.
• Perform all skills and responsibilities required at the Level III Rope Access Technician standard.
• Assist other technicians with tasks and provide leadership as necessary.
• Ensure the operational safety of all equipment and uphold safety standards at all times.

Requirements:

• SPRAT or IRATA Level 3 Certification is required.
• A thorough understanding of applicable rope access applications, including theory, equipment, rigging, maneuvers, climbing, hauling, and advanced rescue techniques.
• Minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated experience as a SPRAT or IRATA Level 3 Rope Access Technician, with experience across various industrial environments.
• Current first aid certification.
• A valid driver’s license is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a diverse team.
• Capable of working productively in a variety of challenging and adverse conditions.
• NDT and/or API certifications are required.
