Position Summary:

Olivier International is seeking a skilled and experienced Rope Access NDT Technician for a full-time offshore position. The role involves performing various NDT inspections, including RT, PT, MT, and UT, in both onshore and offshore environments. The position operates on a two-week on, two-week off rotation, with flights paid for by Olivier International. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified individual to work with a leading provider of services to the oil and gas industry, focusing on non-destructive examination, asset integrity, and engineering.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform NDT inspections (RT, PT, MT, UT) using Rope Access techniques to evaluate the integrity and safety of equipment and structures.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for self and others.
  • Communicate inspection findings, including issues, recommendations, and reports, to clients and relevant stakeholders.
  • Work as part of a team, following all operational and safety guidelines while executing inspections.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment as necessary.
  • Participate in continuous learning to stay updated with the latest NDT technologies and methods.
  • Ensure compliance with industry codes, standards, and regulations during inspections.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Rope Access NDT inspections, including techniques such as RT, PT, MT, and UT.
  • Ability to work in offshore and onshore environments.
  • Strong understanding of safety standards and protocols.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and operate tools and equipment up to 75 pounds.
  • Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including extreme weather and high altitudes.
  • Willingness to work on a two-week on, two-week off offshore rotation schedule.

Qualification:

  • Certification in Rope Access (e.g., IRATA or equivalent).
  • Certification in Level II NDT methods (RT, PT, MT, UT) or higher.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to present findings clearly.
  • Willingness to travel and adapt to offshore work conditions.
