Position Summary:
Olivier International is seeking a skilled and experienced Rope Access NDT Technician for a full-time offshore position. The role involves performing various NDT inspections, including RT, PT, MT, and UT, in both onshore and offshore environments. The position operates on a two-week on, two-week off rotation, with flights paid for by Olivier International. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified individual to work with a leading provider of services to the oil and gas industry, focusing on non-destructive examination, asset integrity, and engineering.Responsibilities:
- Perform NDT inspections (RT, PT, MT, UT) using Rope Access techniques to evaluate the integrity and safety of equipment and structures.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for self and others.
- Communicate inspection findings, including issues, recommendations, and reports, to clients and relevant stakeholders.
- Work as part of a team, following all operational and safety guidelines while executing inspections.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment as necessary.
- Participate in continuous learning to stay updated with the latest NDT technologies and methods.
- Ensure compliance with industry codes, standards, and regulations during inspections.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in Rope Access NDT inspections, including techniques such as RT, PT, MT, and UT.
- Ability to work in offshore and onshore environments.
- Strong understanding of safety standards and protocols.
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
- Ability to lift, carry, and operate tools and equipment up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including extreme weather and high altitudes.
- Willingness to work on a two-week on, two-week off offshore rotation schedule.
Qualification:
- Certification in Rope Access (e.g., IRATA or equivalent).
- Certification in Level II NDT methods (RT, PT, MT, UT) or higher.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to present findings clearly.
- Willingness to travel and adapt to offshore work conditions.
