Rope Access Technician Level III

Position Summary:

Acuren is seeking a Level III Rope Access Technician with NDT certifications to support operations across Raleigh, NC; Kingsport, TN; Savannah, GA; and Orlando, FL. This position requires a highly skilled professional with expertise in rope access techniques, advanced rescue operations, and industrial inspections. The successful candidate will work in various industrial environments, including corn/agricultural facilities, chemical plants, pulp & paper mills, gas plants, refineries, and pharmaceutical sites.

This is a callout/travel position, requiring flexibility and the ability to work in diverse industrial settings. Qualified applicants may be eligible for a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance.

Responsibilities:

• Perform job-specific rope access functions as outlined in work orders.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of advanced rope access and rescue techniques.
• Execute rigging, hauling, climbing, and advanced rescue operations following industry best practices.
• Ensure the operational safety of all equipment used in rope access procedures.
• Assist other technicians as needed to ensure safe and efficient execution of tasks.
• Demonstrate all Level III Rope Access skills and competencies, including supervising and mentoring junior technicians.

Requirements:

• IRATA Level 3 Certification (Required).
• Extensive knowledge of rope access applications, rigging techniques, and advanced rescue procedures.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience as an IRATA Level 3 Rope Access Technician in industrial settings.
• Current first aid certification (Required).
• Valid driver’s license (Preferred).
• Ability to work effectively in a diverse team and coordinate tasks in dynamic environments.
• Adaptability to various industrial conditions, including confined spaces and adverse weather conditions.
