RT Level II Technician

Position Summary:

Intertek is seeking a qualified RT Level II Technician to join its Asset Integrity Management team for a temporary turnaround (TAR) project at a client facility in Washington State. The role involves performing radiographic testing, film interpretation, and inspections to ensure compliance with codes, standards, and job-specific requirements. This short-term position spans 2-3 months, beginning on or around March 21, 2025, with training and certification provided in Houston, TX, prior to the project start.

Responsibilities:

• Perform radiographic testing (RT) and film interpretation to applicable codes, standards, and acceptance criteria.
• Set up, calibrate, and operate NDT equipment, ensuring accurate results.
• Provide guidance and on-the-job training for trainees and NDT Level I personnel.
• Organize and report test results clearly and effectively.
• Stay informed about advancements in NDT techniques and actively participate in continuing education.
• Maintain a professional attitude and represent Intertek positively in all interactions with clients, vendors, and colleagues.
• Adhere to all safety and quality assurance standards during field operations.

Requirements:

Minimum Requirements:

• Certified as ASNT Level II in Radiographic Examination with CR experience.
• Valid State Card.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record.
• Valid TWIC Card.
• Minimum of 3+ years of field experience.

Preferred Requirements:

• Additional NDT certifications in various methods.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Familiarity with industry codes and standards.

• Training phase: $18.00 per hour.
• Project phase: $38.00–$45.00 per hour.
