Sales/Marketing Assistant

Position Summary:

Innerspec Technologies Inc. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales/Marketing Assistant to join its dynamic team in Forest, Virginia. This role is ideal for an individual starting or transitioning into a career in sales and marketing with a passion for technical products, particularly within an industrial setting. The position offers a hands-on experience with varied tasks and responsibilities, supporting the Sales Director and contributing to the company's growth.

Responsibilities:

• Assists the Sales Director in organizing and contacting sales leads.
• Conducts market research and prepares lists of potential customers.
• Maintains the company website and assists in the development and execution of marketing campaigns across digital, print, and email channels.
• Organizes and prepares materials for tradeshows.
• Creates engaging content for social media platforms to enhance brand visibility and customer interaction.
• Collaborates with the sales team to prepare presentations, proposals, and promotional materials that effectively communicate product benefits.
• Monitors and reports on the performance of marketing initiatives, providing insights for continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• Ability to work on-site at the office in Forest, Virginia. Remote work is not offered.
• Strong affinity for sales of technical products, preferably in an industrial space.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing market conditions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or 2+ years of job experience in sales administration.
• Familiarity with website editors (Webflow is a plus).
• Experience with graphic design software is an important advantage.
• Previous experience in sales or marketing roles is preferred but not mandatory.
