Senior Engineer QC

Position Summary:

TÜV SÜD is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer QC - Electrical to oversee and ensure the implementation of quality policies and safety standards during project execution. The ideal candidate will have expertise in electrical equipment, including PLC, SCADA, and switchyards, and will contribute to maintaining high-quality standards through inspections, reporting, and coordination.

Responsibilities:

• Implement approved quality policies during project execution.
• Ensure compliance with PLC, SCADA, transfer yard, switchyard, and electrical equipment charging requirements.
• Issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) in case of quality policy violations or deviations from approved drawings.
• Inspect projects and equipment as per approved methodologies and specifications, including erection, trial runs, and commissioning.
• Verify vendor work, measurements, and billing.
• Submit monthly reports to the client, highlighting critical issues and variations in scope.
• Coordinate with all departments for cable laying and other project requirements.
• Enforce safety policies during the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience after B.Tech in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience in QA as a TPI Engineer in industrial and infrastructure projects.
• Proven ability to inspect and oversee compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Strong analytical and coordination skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (B.Tech) in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
