Position Summary: 

Acuren is currently seeking a Tubular Data Analyst - Project Manager to support their Tubular Division. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to work in a dynamic industrial environment that encourages individual growth and continuous learning. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for conducting advanced NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) inspections, interpreting test results, and ensuring the integrity of materials and structures. This role involves utilizing cutting-edge technology and working closely with other professionals to maintain high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform complex and advanced NDT inspections using state-of-the-art equipment to assess material integrity without causing damage.
  • Analyze and interpret test results to identify defects or inconsistencies and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Utilize advanced NDT software such as Magnify/TubePro (training provided if necessary) to generate comprehensive reports.
  • Offer expert advice on material properties, failure mechanisms, and the selection of suitable NDT methods (e.g., ultrasonic testing, radiographic testing, magnetic particle testing, dye penetrant testing).
  • Develop detailed inspection plans and procedures in compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
  • Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and recommendations for improvements in NDT testing processes.
  • Train and mentor NDT technicians, ensuring they are well-versed in various testing techniques and adhere to safety protocols.
  • Manage multiple NDT projects, ensuring successful execution in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain positive working relations with clients and effectively communicate technical details.

Qualifications:

  • CGSB EC Level 2 Certification.
  • Proficiency in ET/RFT/NFT/IRIS methods.
  • Experience with Magnify/TubePro software is preferred (training provided if necessary).
  • 3-5 years of experience as an Analyst, Project Lead, or Shift Lead in NDT.
  • Strong technical background in NDT methods and procedures.
  • Proven experience in conducting NDT inspections and interpreting results.
  • Demonstrated ability to create detailed reports and communicate findings clearly.
  • Experience with NDT equipment and troubleshooting.
  • Strong safety and quality awareness.

  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong work ethic and self-motivation to perform at a high level.
  • Excellent problem-solving and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain positive working relationships with clients and colleagues.
