As the first instrument in the fifth generation of the renowned Sentinel family, the IX5 introduces a bold new design, coupled with cutting-edge features aimed at enhancing leak test performance. This all-new, re-engineered model promises a streamlined user experience, along with an advanced touchscreen interface and multiple engineering enhancements.
With over four decades of leadership in the leak testing industry, CTS has leveraged its extensive expertise to develop the Sentinel IX5. This state-of-the-art instrument is designed to provide manufacturers with a tool that is more accurate, user-friendly, and efficient for modern production lines.

The touchscreen has been redesigned to offer a simpler, more intuitive layout, providing accessible menus, customizable screen views, and real-time data visualization. The new *Test Sequence Creator* feature, a first in the industry, allows users to easily build, preview, and visualize all steps of a test sequence before execution, significantly improving workflow.
Other notable features include a broad range of leak test methods—users can select from nine distinct test methods and even combine multiple methods within a single instrument. The IX5 also offers faster, more precise leak test performance, with improvements in resolution, accuracy, and temperature/pressure adaptability. Additionally, advanced pressure control capabilities ensure smoother and quicker cycle times.
The Sentinel IX5 provides unmatched flexibility, offering the ability to replace a PLC (programmable logic controller) to manage test operations, streamlining production processes.
