Cygnus Unveils New Underwater Tester for Professional Divers
Diving in subsea environments poses numerous challenges, but with the latest model of the Cygnus Underwater, these challenges are met with ease. This advanced underwater tester comes with a range of smart features designed to operate seamlessly in severe and hostile conditions, providing greater accuracy and usability.
One of the most notable updates is the introduction of a multi-mode tester. The Cygnus Underwater now includes Single-Echo and Echo-Echo modes, allowing divers to test different levels of corrosion. To aid with navigation and avoid disorientation, the Cygnus Underwater is equipped with a Depth Sensor, providing an accurate, constant live depth indication.
Managing data efficiently in challenging environments is made possible with the Cygnus Underwater. Its Real-Time Clock automatically tags time and date to measurement points, making tests easily identifiable. Furthermore, the PRO variant offers comprehensive data-logging, automatically saving measurements with A-Scans and depth, while Topside Repeating via CygLink enables continuous A-Scan and measurement data sharing at the surface, easily exportable for report presentation or printing. With these data management options, recording and organizing large volumes of data becomes hassle-free.
