Evident has announced its next-generation Vanta Element™ handheld XRF analyzer series, designed to provide fast and accurate alloy identification across scrap sorting, metal manufacturing, and precious metals testing applications. The Vanta Element series is available in two models: the Vanta Element analyzer, designed for basic alloy identification, and the Vanta Element-S analyzer, which offers alloy identification with light element analysis. The new series emphasizes enhanced comfort, speed, and ease of use, allowing users to increase confidence in their alloy analysis.
Engineered for efficiency, the Vanta Element series analyzers are powered by silicon drift detection and the trusted Axon Technology, offering fast and precise alloy analysis. Both models provide fast grade identification and on-screen grade comparison, enabling higher throughput in alloy testing while minimizing mix-ups and reducing the need for rework. The analyzers feature a refreshed interface with a brighter, clearer display, workflow improvements, and a more fluid navigation system, streamlining the training process and simplifying daily operations for users of all experience levels.
The Vanta Element series has been redesigned to maximize productivity in demanding environments. The updated ergonomically balanced handle with a nonslip grip makes the device more comfortable to hold, while a smaller transport case and optional holster accessory improve mobility. Built on a legacy of rugged XRF analyzers, the new series is IP rated, drop tested, and backed by a comprehensive three-year warranty, ensuring a low cost of ownership.
In addition to its enhanced functionality, the Vanta Element series features advanced connectivity options. The new models include an optional wireless connection, enabling users to save and share data more efficiently. The browser-based interface allows users to review, share, and manage XRF results on a PC, tablet, or smartphone, providing seamless data management and collaboration. Users also gain access to the Evident Connect cloud for free cloud storage and additional data management solutions. The devices offer automatic software updates, ensuring that users always have access to the latest features. For wired data transfer, the analyzers feature a faster USB and SD card storage system with an updated data port door.
Flexible and affordable, the Vanta Element series allows users to customize their X-ray tube and detector configurations based on specific testing needs and budget considerations. The configurable element suite enables a fully personalized data display, and enhanced application support offers the option to integrate custom analytical capabilities. The series' efficiency is further optimized by a range of field-optimized XRF accessories, including a redesigned field stand, soil foot, and holster.
“We are excited to introduce the next-generation Vanta Element and Vanta Element-S handheld XRF analyzers, which deliver greater value, faster performance and increased reliability,” said Ted Shields, Director of Product Management, Analytical Instruments at Evident. “Whether you are sorting scrap, verifying metal grades in a manufacturing process or analyzing precious metals, the Vanta Element series analyzers are designed to help you work more efficiently while reducing operational costs.”
