FORCE Technology and Asia Offshore Solutions (AOS) have announced a strategic partnership to deliver cutting-edge subsea inspection, structural monitoring, and cathodic protection services to Australia’s offshore industry. This collaboration will provide operators with advanced tools to ensure the integrity of critical subsea infrastructure, enabling proactive maintenance and reducing operational risks.

Under the agreement, signed in November 2024, AOS will offer FORCE Technology’s pipeline integrity management services, including Advanced Non-Destructive Testing (ANDT) solutions. These high-resolution inspection methods provide detailed insights into subsea assets, helping identify vulnerabilities early to mitigate costly failures and potential environmental risks.

The partnership also brings FORCE Technology’s FiGS (Field Gradient Sensor) technology to the Australian market. FiGS, a non-contact survey tool, enables precise assessments of cathodic protection health on subsea structures, detecting corrosion at an early stage and advising on timely repairs or replacements.

Thomas Saetre, Offshore Business Development Manager at AOS, emphasized the benefits of this innovative technology: “By introducing this technology, we can overcome issues that previously relied on older, slower methods, enabling our clients to reduce survey time while achieving superior data accuracy and insights. This partnership will empower our clients to tackle regional challenges more efficiently, ultimately enhancing project outcomes and overall asset integrity".

FORCE Technology’s Sales Manager for Integrity Management & Monitoring, Jarle Zetterstrøm, highlighted the importance of the partnership: "By collaborating with a trusted, expert partner, we can provide advanced inspection solutions tailored to the specific needs of customers in Australia and the surrounding region".

The partnership comes at a crucial time as Australia’s offshore industry faces increasing demands for efficiency, reliability, and environmental safety. By combining FORCE Technology’s global expertise in inspection and monitoring with AOS’s regional knowledge, the collaboration is set to redefine subsea asset management standards in Australia.
