GelSight, a leader in tactile intelligence technology, has announced a strategic partnership with Flexxbotics, a company specializing in digital solutions for robot-driven manufacturing. The collaboration will offer a joint solution that integrates GelSight’s tactile sensing technology with Flexxbotics' autonomous process control systems, enabling robotic nondestructive testing (NDT) with enhanced precision and efficiency.

The combined solution significantly reduces inspection time by more than 40%, allowing industries such as aerospace, defence, automotive, and medical devices to leverage industrial robots and collaborative robots to perform precise quality inspections. GelSight’s 3D imaging technology captures micron-level surface defects and finish, while Flexxbotics ensures seamless coordination between robots and business systems like CAD, QMS, and IIoT, streamlining production workflows and quality compliance.
