MISTRAS Group, Inc. a leading provider of integrated technology-enabled asset protection solutions, has announced the appointment of Cliff Schaffer as the Senior Vice President of In-Lab Services. Schaffer will report directly to Hani Hammad, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, and will lead the company’s in-lab strategy and operations across North America. His primary focus will be on scaling services for the aerospace, defense, and heavy manufacturing sectors.

Schaffer brings over a decade of executive leadership experience in the testing, inspection, and certification (TIC) industry. He most recently served as Vice President of Operations at Element Materials Technology, where he led a newly formed division supporting space and defense programs. Under his leadership, the division achieved a 22% annual revenue growth, significantly improving profitability and customer satisfaction.
A graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, Schaffer is recognized for driving transformational growth and operational agility across highly regulated industries, with a proven track record in enhancing both business performance and customer experience.
MISTRAS Group’s in-lab services provide critical support to OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers through a network of ISO 17025-accredited laboratories with Nadcap and regulatory certifications.
