This acquisition enhances Penspen’s presence in the UK’s North-East, bolstering its expertise in energy security, energy transition, and renewable energy projects across the UK and internationally.
C&I Engineering Solutions will now operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Penspen. Its leadership team includes CEO Grant Lunn, COO Derek Sives, Technical Director Richard Auld, and Finance Manager Claire Macaulay, who bring years of experience in delivering high-quality engineering services for critical energy infrastructure.
According to Peter O’Sullivan, CEO of Penspen, this acquisition allows Penspen to broaden its technical capabilities and support to energy and utility clients in the UK, advancing its vision of securing sustainable energy for communities worldwide. “The addition of C&I Engineering Solutions strengthens our team and our ability to offer top-tier support for energy transition, decarbonization, hydrogen, and carbon capture projects,” O'Sullivan said.
Founded in 2013 by CEO Grant Lunn, C&I Engineering Solutions has completed over 2,000 projects across energy security and renewable markets.
