Sonomatic has announced the launch of Fototerra Sonomatic, a joint venture with Fototerra, aimed at transforming inspection services in Brazil's booming oil and gas industry. This strategic collaboration brings together Sonomatic’s expertise in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and Fototerra’s three decades of experience in subsea data processing, photogrammetry, and 3D modeling to deliver advanced, localized inspection solutions.
Fototerra Sonomatic is supported by a robust operational infrastructure, including a technical workshop in Macaé, commercial offices in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, and a Research and Development hub in Salvador. The venture is focused on addressing Brazil’s unique challenges in offshore oil and gas operations, deploying specialized robotic and high-end NDT technologies to ensure operational safety and efficiency.
