Teledyne ICM proudly announces the launch of its latest innovation in digital radiography: the Go-Scan 1025B and 1043B bendable portable detectors. These cutting-edge devices are designed for the inspection of circumferential welds on pipes with a minimum diameter of 152 mm (6 inches), offering unparalleled accuracy and convenience.
The Go-Scan 1025B and 1043B feature a pixel pitch of 99 μm, delivering exceptional image clarity and detail for high-resolution imaging. NDT operators can select between wireless or cable connectivity, tailored to their specific operational needs. These battery-operated detectors are versatile: they accommodate X-ray energy ranges from 40 to 450 kV and are compatible with gamma rays. They are constructed with robust materials to endure the rigorous demands of NDT fieldwork.
Weighing just 1.5 kg and 1.7 kg respectively, the Go-Scan 1025B and 1043B are lightweight and thin, making them ideal for fitting into tight spaces. This design ensures that operators can easily maneuver the detectors in challenging environments without compromising on performance.
A key distinction between the two models lies in their active area sizes. The Go-Scan 1025B boasts an active area of 97 x 249 mm (3.8 x 9.8 inches), while the Go-Scan 1043B offers a larger active area of 97 x 427 mm (3.8 x 16.8 inches), making it ideal for extensive inspections requiring detailed imaging over larger surfaces.
Seamlessly integrated with Teledyne ICM CPSeries generators, the Go- Scan 1025B and 1043B ensure a streamlined and efficient workflow. Additionally, they are compatible with the advanced Sherlock NDT software, which provides sophisticated image editing tools for real-time adjustments and superior image quality.
