TIGHITCO, Inc., a leading provider of aerospace and defense solutions, is proud to announce that its Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) division, Overhaul Support Services (OSS), has been awarded an approval certificate from the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) of the United Kingdom. This certification designates OSS as a Part 145 CAA repair station for aircraft components used on aircraft registered in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
The CAA certificate, alongside existing approvals from the FAA and EASA, broadens OSS’s operational scope, empowering the company to provide release forms for aircraft components outside the United States. This achievement marks a significant expansion for OSS, enabling the division to offer its services internationally.

For nearly three decades, TIGHITCO’s Overhaul Support Services division has been a trusted partner for government agencies, OEM service centers, and operators, providing scheduled maintenance, inspections, testing, and repairs on both helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft. OSS specializes in component disassembly and assembly, Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), Non-Destructive Inspection (NDI), and final assembly.
The receipt of the CAA certification positions TIGHITCO as a global leader in aerospace and defense MRO services, further enhancing its ability to meet the evolving needs of the international aviation industry.
