TRIGO, a global leader in quality management for the transportation industry, has announced the acquisition of Controreupe, a specialist in non-destructive testing (NDT) based in Saint-Geneviève-des-Bois, France. The deal, supported by law firm Ginestié-Paley-Vincent, is set to strengthen TRIGO’s position in industrial quality control and expand its service offering in the aerospace and defence sectors.
Controreupe brings over 30 years of expertise in NDT, generating annual revenues of €3 million. The company is renowned for its advanced techniques, including penetrant testing and 3D measurement of complex components, which play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and reliability of aerospace and railway systems. These methods are designed to detect microscopic defects and provide precise dimensional assessments, all while maintaining the integrity of the components.
The acquisition is a significant step in TRIGO’s ongoing strategic expansion. The company’s Aerospace, Defence, and Rail (ADR) division recently surpassed €100 million in annual revenue, marking a growth of over 20%. Looking ahead, TRIGO aims to triple Controreupe’s revenue by 2030 and create more than 30 new roles, primarily for metrologists and NDT technicians. The company also plans to expand its 3D testing and measurement services, targeting €100 million in revenue through a combination of organic growth and further acquisitions.
Lucile Crayssac, who joined TRIGO in 2015, has been appointed Managing Director of Controreupe. With over two decades of experience in the aerospace industry and a successful track record as international Business Manager in TRIGO's Aerospace and Defence division, Crayssac will lead the integration and growth of Controreupe within TRIGO's operations.
The acquisition of Controreupe marks a key milestone in TRIGO's commitment to enhancing its inspection, control, and testing capabilities, further solidifying its role as a trusted partner in the aerospace and transportation sectors.
