Join us at our upcoming Thermal Analysis webinar series, "Understanding Dynamic mechanical Analysis." The series will have two parts: "Part 1: The Basics" and "Part 2: Advanced Topics." The webinars are free to attend with advance registration and also available on demand.
Dynamic Mechanical Analysis (DMA) is an extremely powerful technique for understanding material properties. Estimated to be 100x more sensitive to the presence of the glass transition than DSC, DMA is commonly used for detecting the Tg in composites and highly cured materials. However, there are many other applications.

Part 1: The Basics
Thursday, July 15, 2021
1 PM ET / 12 noon CT / 10 AM PT
Addresses the principles of how DMA measures as well as the basic applications like Tg, Tm, Modulus, and Curing. The second lecture will look at the more advanced topics of frequency effects in materials.
Presenter: Kevin Menard, Ph.D.
